A new market has been listed for Barack Obama to face a serious primary challenger in 2012 for the Democratic nomination. A primary challenger will be considered serious if they win 20% or more of the vote in one the following three contests: Iowa Caucus, New Hampshire Primary or South Carolina Primary.

Contract Rules:

This contract will settle (expire) at 100 ($10.00) if any primary challenger to Barack Obama wins 20% or more of the vote in the Iowa Caucus, the New Hampshire Primary or the South Carolina Primary.

The contract will settle (expire) at 0 ($0.00) if no primary challenger to Barack Obama wins 20% or more of the vote in the Iowa Caucus, the New Hampshire Primary or the South Carolina Primary.

Expiry will be based on the official results of the 2012 Iowa Caucus, New Hampshire Primary and South Carolina Primary, as reported by three independent and reliable media sources.

The Exchange reserves the right to invoke Contract Rule 1.8 (Time Protection) if deemed appropriate.

Any changes to the result after the contract has expired will not be taken into account - Exchange Rule 1.4
